Republicans Always Get In The Way!

5:30 pm  /  5:40 pm what sounds like stuff falling from the construction yard across the street from us where they are currently building a seven story apartment building we thought nothing of it. . . And then came the sirens. . . and they were getting closer. So naturally as anyone does on Bellevue Ave they go to their windows or balconies to see what the ruckus is all about.

To our dismay we see a collision occurred between an SUV and a motorcyclist Now before jumping to conclusions the SUV wasn’t a Chevy Tahoe or Suburban, Lincoln Navigator, or Dodge Durango, no this was a mid-size SUV cross over Suzuki.

The motorcycle I couldn’t really tell but it looked European not a traditional crotch rocket or traditional american made motorcycle. As the man on the motorcycle lay in the intersection of Republican and Bellevue police and emergency responders arrive in force.

Witnesses on either side of Bellevue eagerly awaiting a chance to tell the police officers what they saw happen. The motorcyclist was then transported to the hospital for injuries, Seattle police said he was a resident in the are and the person in the SUV was texting while driving. As the person in the SUV was not paying attention they decided to go when the motorcyclist had the right of way and they collided. Seattle police said if the witnesses were not there to see what happened it very well could have been much worse.
